ISABEL LEWIS MIT STUDIERENDEN VON SEAD, MUK, ANGEWANDTE, BILDENDE UND HGB LEIPZIG

The Script

Developed in a one-day performance lab in collaboration with students of dance and performance from SEAD, MUK, Angewandte, Bildende, and HGB Leipzig, The Script is a collectively composed sequence of discrete actions that, when strung together, become a single work, a kind of “cadavre exquis” of live performance. This strange common body made of all participants inputs will stretch its many heads and limbs into all the corners and interstitial spaces of the TQW Studios and the space between the TQW Studios and Halle G. A crash course in mise-en-scène, this work attempts to bring the strengths of dance and visual art performance together in an exploration of the spatio-temporal and material relations between flesh, bone, and architecture as well as the bio-social relations between our human life and non-life.
