ALIX EYNAUDI & LUIS PISETTA RAVANELLI

TQW zine #5 – A Love Letter to Miss Spelling

©

© Luis Pisetta Ravanelli & Alix Eynaudi

A Love Letter to Miss Spelling is a zine that misspells deliberately. It arrives on Black Friday Forever, the day language works hardest to persuade us to drain our wallets. We wrote it knowing we can’t fully escape that. But somewhere in the error, in the slip, the lateral, the literal (Miss Litoral!!), in what gets lost between one mouth and another ear, something else might pass through.

On the occasion of its launch, A Love Letter to Miss Spelling becomes a word of mouth that lands on the page with your writing, a collective dictation where words surface in one body and land, changed, in another. An almost-event, a gathering of sorts where you write what reached you, where the body is the grammar.

  • Artist Bio

    Alix Eynaudi

is an artist and researcher working in the field of expanded choreography, at the intersection of performance, publication, and collective study formats. A performer for Rosas, Boris Charmatz, Jennifer Lacey, and Anne Juren, she has recently created Death by Landscape (2024), fiction fiction (2025), and it doesn’t go without saying (2026). She has received several research grants, including PEEK (FWF, 2019–2022) for Noa & Snow, the Arbeitstipendium from the City of Vienna (2023), and support from La Manufacture – HES-SO and IRMAS for the Institute of Rest(s) project (2023–2025).

    Luis(a) Pisetta Ravanelli

is a multidisciplinary artist working with dance and sound through moving images and text. Luis’s current research focuses on inclusive and alternative mechanisms of knowledge exchange, exploring how multiple narratives can coexist without being reduced to a single linear framework. Luis’s dance is a mis-functional archive of unresolved inherited pleasures, brought into relation through the joys and tensions of present-day encounters. Alongside performance and research, Luis’s practice extends to drumming and drag king performance.
