A meeting place for PhD and master’s students, theorists who want to distinguish themselves in the field, newcomers and thinkers interested in discursive exchange (with or without a degree). After reading a text together, there will be an opportunity for open debate. In addition, one’s research work can be presented and put up for debate, or new formats can be tested in a safe space. - Lecture: Ephemeral moments for a different future. A site-sensitive investigation into participatory performance practices on water and sustainability by Navina Neverla. Neverla is a multi- and transdisciplinary dance artist and choreographer, researching as part of an inter- and transdisciplinary practice-based PhD programme in Performing Arts and the Moving Image in Lisbon at FBAUL (Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa).

- Lecture: Dance Meets Cognitive Science by Monica Delgadillo (Tanz die Toleranz, Caritas), Katy Geertsen (Arts for Health Austria), Christina Regorosa (Central European University)
The working group presents a selection of recent studies demonstrating how dance as a research subject enriches cognitive science. These studies range from fundamental research in ecological test settings to application-oriented studies that prove the positive effects of dance across various population groups.

- Online Presentation: Maria Luigia Gioffrè is a PhD student in theatre, performative arts and new media at Accademia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica Silvio d’Amico in Rome, Italy. Her research investigates self-representation and dance on social online networks as means of mediated theatrical liveness.

- Lecture: Art Traditions in Scenes of Love and Desire by Iris Julian
The research project, funded by the City of Vienna and to be published by Routledge (London) in 2025, combines art history, visual culture studies and theatre studies into an interdisciplinary methodological framework. It examines contemporary performances in dance and the visual arts that deal with love and sexuality. The connecting link between the scenic representations is the re-enactment of visual art from the Western art canon. The lecture will be held in German.
