  • Artist Bio

    Alix Eynaudi

    is a Vienna-based choreographer and performer. Trained at the Paris Opéra and P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels, she danced with Rosas from 1996 to 2003 before developing her own works, including performances, publications, and collective study formats. Her practice explores expanded choreography, rest, and the politics of dance, often collaborating with artists like Jennifer Lacey and Han-Gyeol Lie. Eynaudi teaches and presents work internationally. Her most recent works with Tanzquartier include the project (Im)mobility Salon #3 (2023) and the stage works To Sing The Wind, Pipes And Bones, A Dance Choral (with PARASOL, 2022) and BRUNO (2021).

    Elizabeth Ward

    is a US-American dancer, choreographer, and occasional Outside Eye based in Vienna. She began training at the School of the Atlanta Ballet and received her B.A. from Bennington College in Vermont, where she was a student of Cathy Weis and Dana Reitz. In New York City her work was shown at Danspace, Movement Research at Judson Church, AUNTS, the Chocolate Factory, Dixon Place, and the Kitchen. Additionally, Ward performed for downtown choreographers such as Yvonne Meier, DD Dorvillier, Rebecca Brooks, Linda Austin, Miguel Gutierrez, Heather Kravas, and Cathy Weis. Since moving to Austria, her work has been shown through brut Wien, WUK, Tanzquartier Wien, Wiener Festwochen, ImPulsTanz, and steirischer herbst. Most recently, she presented A rolling hitch (with PARASOL, 2024) at Tanzquartier.
