This physical contemporary dance workshop deals with biomechanics, impulses, gravity, rebounce, and flow. At once playful and challenging, Vasko interweaves technical principles from contemporary dance, breakdance, and acrobatics. When these strategies are combined, extreme physical movements can be performed in a flow. The focus is on speed and softness of movement.

Artist Bio
Vasko Nasonov
is a dancer, teacher and performer. He started with hip-hop and house and participated in many Russian and international dance battles. In 2019, he won the Rhythm is a Dancer Dance Contest at the ImPulsTanz festival. Vasko worked with the FarFor Yo company and choreographers Mike Tyus, Ofir Yudilevich, Tomislav English, Niels Robitzky, Anna Abalihina and Pavel Gluhov, to name a few. Currently, he is a dancer with the Kseniya Shlezinger dance project and a guest dancer with the Moscow Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre. As a teacher, he has extensive experience with numerous workshops for festivals, dance companies, and dance programmes worldwide.
