ZIYA AZAZI

Dervish in Progress

©

© Matt Dunham

This workshop is a transformative journey through whirling, inspired by the trilogy of body, mind, and spirit. It connects ancient traditions with modern science and art, exploring trinities like animal–sapiens–homo deus or earth–machine–data.
Through stretching, breathing, awareness exercises, and improvisation, participants prepare for the unknown. Whirling then becomes a space to expand perception, save energy, and enter a state of flow. More than spinning, it opens a path to freedom, presence, and transformation, helping participants face today’s fast life with balance and clarity.
