Afro-Fusion

Afro-Fusion is a modern dance style that combines various African styles – from traditional West African dances to urban forms such as Afrobeats and Amapiano. 
Emerging from the diversity of the African diaspora, Afro-Fusion represents the fusion of cultures, music, and movement – and now inspires dancers worldwide. Characterized by energy, rhythm, and expressiveness, Afro-Fusion combines powerful, earthy elements with smooth, flowing movements. This results in choreographies that reflect the vibrancy of African dance traditions in a contemporary context. In this class, participants learn both popular Afro dance moves and classic West African steps – always accompanied by pulsating beats from Afrobeats and Afropop.
