There are desks, where you can read and work with the available literature. If you need any assistance with your research, our library staff will be glad to help. You can use your laptop (power supply and wireless lan are available) or one of our fully equipped computers with internet connection, as well as our PC (MAC) for video cutting.For you Online enquiry please use our Catalogue Library.
In our media library you will find video recordings of local and international Artists and companies, whereat our focus lies on works of the Austrian dance and performance scene. There are TV sets equipped with DVD-, VHS- and MiniDV-players which can be used for screening our videos. Catalogue Mediacenter.
The core of our media library is the archive of Tanzquartier Wien, which contains video tapes of the whole artistic and discursive work which took place at Tanzquartier Wien (Performances, Lectures, Research-Workshops, etc.) since its foundation 2001. At the moment we are digitalizing this archive, to provide unrestricted access to the collected material in highest possible quality.
